Peptides & Bodybuilders

Ten years ago, only the top bodybuilders knew about the power of the peptides and the way they enhance the human body. Before that, only a few people knew about them, and they weren’t introduced to the community. Throughout the years, dozens of medicaments which carried the title of a peptide were released. But the growth of the market was so rapid that many athletes were left without enough information on this topic.


Peptide is a word used to describe different compounds that have a variety of effects on the human body, unlike the fixed benefit of the an-abolic steroids. There are thousands of peptides in the world with a variety of advantages, some of which are not connected to bodybuilding. If we limit the peptide to those that have any benefit for the building, we are still going to have thousands of them. With so much information, it is easy to understand why there is confusion.

A Chain of 50 or fewer amino acids is known as a peptide. When the chain grows bigger, they are known as proteins. Peptides are produced in our body, and we can consume them with food.

 Peptides are the new breed of enhancers for the athletes. The first known to the Bodybuilding community are insulin and growth hormone. Some people state that those peptides are the holy grail of performance enhancement due to the fact that they don’t have any significant side effects, while others stay that they shouldn’t be consumed.

Some of the most popular peptides used in the fitness industry are the IGF-1 ( Muscle Growth & Recovery ), GHRP ( GH release/appetite stimulation), GHRH (GH release), Melanotan 1 & 2 ( Tanning & Increased libido and suppressed appetite ) and Thymosins ( Injury Prevention & Injured Treatment ). There is a large variety of peptides available, and sometimes it’s hard to distinguish them one from another.

The value of the peptide is determined by the goals of the athlete. The best way to make your muscles grow is to consume steroids. Pep-tides will enhance your performance but they are not a replacement for AAS. If you take both peptides and steroids, you will see far better results. The biggest benefit of the protein is that it has no serious side-effects.

For example, if you use IGF-1, you shouldn’t experience growing overnight, but you will see a significant change in the next few weeks with both recovery and muscle growth. Other peptides benefit the health and well-being of bodybuilders. Example for such supplement is Thymosin Beta 4, which is involved in the protection, repair, and regeneration of organ-tissues. It reduces inflam-mation and accelerates wound healing while the collagen synthesis rate is quite increased.

In the past, you might have encountered “peptides” that didn’t provide any benefits for you. But the fact is, that those proteins have been a blessing for thousands of athletes around the world. Each compound of the peptides are different, and they offer unique benefits to their users, so don’t hesitate to try them.
